Now is as good a time as any to share a bit about myself—Mark Loe—and the purpose of this page. I was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, where I was introduced to sailing in 1974 at age 12.
Growing up in the Caribbean during the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and early 2000s was an unforgettable experience. It offered one of the best sailing lifestyles imaginable. I spent my days outside with friends, playing sports and enjoying everything the islands had to offer. Life revolved around the sea—sailing, surfing, fishing, and embracing island life.
My passion for sailing turned into a lifelong career. Today, I’m proud to represent Ullman Sails in the New England area. As part of a global network of expert sailmakers, we specialize in custom sails for all types of sailors.
